So i am back from my long vacation to being lazy. I guess I could give my opinion of the canidates. I think Bush is stuborn in his mistakes and Kerry cant decide wich mistake to stick with.

I think that the problems are not only at the top. They permiate all levels of scocioty. The answer will not be found in one person or even an idea. I do not believe democrasy is our savior, it has a lot of flaws. Rich people keep getting richer and the poor keep getting opressed. It is, however the best system on earth because it compensates for people.

Capitalism is driven by peoples greed, their desire to be powerfull and wealthy, and fear. The optimum situation is not that we all adopt capitalism, it is that we all be come better people.
What if the United States Army was over in Iraq to spread freedom, what if they could tell people that they did not have to fear. What if they said that hope was not found in systems or governments but in the one true God (that is right I am a chrsitian and I will not be sorry, because I have found true hope and true joy in Christ, How could i not tell people).

Those are just some thoughts I have had.

I write with great remorse in informing you all that neither Howard Dean nor my self will be running for president any longer. We both just realized that 0 primary victories just were not enough (also I have given up on having them lower the whole 35 years thing they are just so stubborn). But we have not given up on this country. He has gone on some kind of crusade on changing the Democratic Party and I have decided to write.

Which brings me to my next point. What about governments? What makes them work.  Why are so many Americans hold such and allegiance to there own party and there own way of life? It was as if God him self has come down and bestowed capitalism on us. Now I am not advocating socialism or that we all go back to the futile system or any thing but ask your selves what is inherently Christian about capitalism. Can you all be your selves under a different govt. system? I don’t know it just seems that we can all tend to be a little ethnocentric in our goings on and doings. But I guess those are just ramblings.

So as far as the gay thing goes… That is the reason I think that Carrie will get to the presidential election and will loose it to Bush. He was pretty pro gay rights. I mean I am not saying that bush has been the best president we have ever had but I think, regardless of what the media portrays, that his belief system is more aligned to the common man than carries. Maybe the democrats see that and they will try to get Edwards to be there candidate. I think he is the only one who has a chance.

This is another real quick thing. I think that bush gets a lot of flack and while he is not a great orator he is not a bad guy. Yeah a lot of people have lost jobs but I don’t understand why every one has forgotten the economic rule when it comes to presidents. It is that the next person in line gets your glory or shame.  It is like Herbert hover and the great depression. He gets all of the blame but he was only the president for a few mere months before the stock market crashed. It was the work of the president before him and his pour decisions that made it crash. It is the same today. Clinton got W. Bushes Glory and Bush jr. got Clintons shame. It is just the way things go. All right I am done complaining. So until next time…

To answer every ones questions i am hesatent to reviel who i am because i am afraid that people will not be able to hear me for me. we all have preconseptions. i want people to be able to listen to what is being said for merely that and nothing more. maybe some day you will know who i am but that is not the reason i did this that is not why this is important.

now that i have all of that out of the way... for my first day of real witeing.

So a really big topic in the word today is the gay rights question. Should they or should they not be allowed to marry under the law. They major opponents against it are. We will call them the pro-gays and the anti-gays. So  the pro gays big argument is that they have the right to a be treated as equal citizens that it is not far if they are discriminated against. The argument from the anti side is that it is just wrong and that things were not supposed to be this way or something like that. Well the problem with the pros side is that they are saying that something is wrong how they are being treated. Now at a first glance this statement looks fair. but it is based upon the notion that there is a right and a wrong, or as it was called in the constitution, “the natural laws”. But what is that based in? it is based in an assumption that there is a God. So this kind of thing really resonates with a “Christian” society. The only problem with that is that pro gay people do not believe in God or at least adhere to his commandments yet they still believe in the benefits that the idea that there is a god would get them.

On the other hand how ever the anti gay people need to ask them selves if they really are adhering to that very same idea that people do have rights. Are they really showing love to those people, as Jesus would have? But they say “but gay people will ruin the covenant of marriage”. Ok but really they can’t. Is God going to not allow marriage to be as special because of what a secular govt. allows. It is not the case. Where are you if you allow what the govt. does to affect your relationship with God.  Are you really trusting him.

The last and I think most sobering question is what will the church do. Will they condone gay marriages? If so, then there is the real hypocrisy; If they allow them selves to be adulterated by the beliefs of a govt. That is where I totally believe in the separation of church and state. You, church, are called to a higher standard. Yes you must love these people but if you turn a blind eye to the things they do than why do you even exist.

The length and content of the pressenttimes will vary. It is up to you what you do with that.

this is my first collom.. we will see how this goes.

I am writeing this in the fore ground of what i think are going to be some of the most interesting and challenging times of us as americans. we people are at a time where we are, and should be, challenging the things we accept. where we are going? we question thing like where are we as a country going. what is wright and what is wrong. what role should we play in this epic play. are we merely extras. is there a greater meaning to it all. what about gay rights. what about abortion. what about the passion. is it ok that we are at war. i will be trying to systematicly trying to take on all of these topics as time goes on. if you have a view on what i am saying please voice it. you must be respectful but every thing will be heard and answered. so with out further ordue we live on....

P.S. i am very sorry but i dont care about my grammer or my spelling so please forgive me
